When a merger
failed and
bankruptcy resulted,
suits were filed against the company and some of its officers and directors. The COO was alleged to have been involved in accounting irregularities and other misrepresentations. Gorby, Peters & Associates, P.C. lawyer, , represented the COO. First, insurance coverage was found to fund a portion of the defense. Second, the COO was ultimately dismissed by the judge before trial.
Regarding his representation, the former corporate officer said: Thank you for the excellent work you did on my recent case in Georgia. I appreciate the way you handled this case. I found you to be honest, straightforward and timely in your responses to my questions. Most importantly, the outcome was successful. As a defendant, my emotions were on a roller coaster and with your guidance I got through the ordeal with my sanity intact. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend you to anyone. |
